To register for the first time, you will need an activation code.

Activation Code

An activation code is a security detail that ensures your personal information is correctly matched to your online account.

(Activation codes are automatically sent once an email address has been added to your customer profile. An activation code over 15 days old is no longer valid. Select 'I need an activation code'.)

Thank you for choosing to start the MySGI registration process. You have chosen to call to register your email address. This process will require us to verify your identity and confirm that you will be the only person accessing your personal information.

Who to call:

  • Your motor licence issuer, or our SGI Motor Vehicle Branch offices during regular business hours.
  • Our Customer Service Centre at 1-844-TLK-2SGI (1-844-855-2744) between 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday to Friday and 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Saturdays.
  • After regular business hours, our Permit Office at 1-800-667-7575 from 6 a.m. - 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. - 10 p.m.
    The Permit Office is also available on Sundays and holidays from 6 a.m. - 10 p.m., except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.
